There are many reasons that I love kettlebells. They attack your body with both intense cardio and weight training at the same time. They work, period. Then add how compact they are and it just adds to the goodness. We finally ditched the old school bench press we had in the house and I used the cash, thanks Craigslist, to buy some more kettlebells from Phil Ray at NPTI.
If you are sick and tired of wasting away hours on stationary cardio equipment and then trudging around a series of weight machines — time for more kettlebell. (They got the saying all wrong. It isn’t “more cowbell”; “more kettlebell”.)
I’m excited to extend the weights I have available in kettlebells. Now I have two 24kg kettlebells for double exercises: swings, snatch, squat, press, lunge, alternating cleans, and more.
These two are definitely a great addition to my home gym.
What’s in your home gym? Any kettlebells, yet?
